Classes

Touch for Health® Classes

Touch for Health® is series of 4 2-day classes teaching basic applied kinesiology. The subject matter goes from elementary material to more advanced material in the later classes. It is occasionally taught in what is called the "synthesis" in which the entire program is taught in 8 continuous days. One can take only one 2-day course or any number up to 4 classes. There are no prerequisites required to begin the classes, but they must be taken in order.

TFH I: TBA; Hamden, CT

You will be able to perform a complete 14 muscle balance bringing optimal "chi" to each of the 14 main Chinese meridians. Learn emotional stress release and pain reduction techniques, as well as how to balance someone using a surrogate. Explore the effect of certain nutritional factors in achieving and maintaing optimal balance. You will leave the class ready to help others and alo will have several new strategies to keep yourself in balance and performing optimally.

TFH II: TBA; Hamden, CT

Add to your knowledge of the simple balancing techniques in TFH I. Learn 14 addidional muscle tests to ascertain the status of "chi" in the 14 primary meridians. You will become knowledgeable about Yin/Yang balancing; know how to use the wheel to determine the most efficient way to achieve balance; and, understand the theory behind the 5 Chinese elements and how to use the elements to assist you in bringing yourself and others into optimal balance.

Kinesiology Fundamentals

Learn to:

  • Perform accurate muscle checking to assess structural and energetic imbalances
  • Perform simple and easy massage and acupressure techniques which can immediately eliminate back pain, neck and shoulder stress, headaches and muscle cramps
  • Determine what foods a person is sensitive to and what foods need to be added to a person's diet to create optimum health and performance
  • Find the indicated interventions needed to restore the balance of chi in meridians using finger modes

This course is foundational to any courses in kinesiology that you have taken in the past or will take in the future. It will help you to get a good start with kinesiology as well as help you to integrate what you already know.
